Today the Maier family farms their vineyards organically, focusing on sustainable practices and low-intervention cellar work. Their wines are known for precision, freshness, and a clear expression of the region’s loess and primary rock soils.
Tasting Notes:
Bright and aromatic with notes of green apple, lime zest, white pepper, and fresh herbs, layered with hints of pear and subtle stone fruit. The palate is lively and mineral-driven, showing Grüner Veltliner’s classic peppery spice balanced by crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.
Food Recommendation:
Seafood, fresh salads, light noodle dishes, herb-driven cuisine, and Asian flavors.
