About Grace Wine

Grace Wine is one of Japan’s most respected wineries, based in Yamanashi, the historic heart of Japanese winemaking. Founded in 1923, the estate is known for meticulous vineyard work and a philosophy of expressing Japanese terroir with precision and restraint. The Akeno vineyard, located around 700m above sea level with some of the longest sunshine hours in Japan, produces grapes with excellent ripeness and freshness, giving the wines both structure and finesse.

Tasting Notes:

A refined and aromatic Cabernet Franc with notes of ripe plum, cassis, red berries, Japanese apricot, sweet tobacco, and gentle spice. The palate is elegant and vibrant with silky tannins, bright acidity, and layers of dark fruit and subtle herbaceous lift. Balanced, polished, and quietly complex.

Food Recommendation:

Roast duck, char siew, lamb, grilled mushrooms, fermented dishes, and savory Asian cuisine.
