About La del Terreno
La del Terreno is a small natural wine project in Bullas, southeastern Spain, dedicated to reviving old-vine Monastrell vineyards through organic farming and minimal intervention in the cellar. The wines are expressive, honest reflections of the Mediterranean landscape—sun-kissed yet lifted by altitude and limestone soils.
Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby with aromas of wild blackberry, plum, dried thyme, rosemary, and warm earth. The palate is structured yet vibrant, showing juicy dark fruit layered with spice, mineral tension, and gentle rustic tannins typical of old-vine Monastrell. Savory and soulful with a long, herbal finish.
Food Recommendation:
Charred pork, slow-braised meats, grilled lamb, fermented dishes, mushroom dishes, and hearty Asian cuisine.
