Notes: This brew first made its debut in 1996, made from the then new, Yamagata-local rice called Dewasansan. Today it has a Yamagata only appellation of control “Dewa33.” On the nose, it carries notes of apple and calming lavender. On the tongue, prepare for a rich, velvety texture and a burst of green apple sweetness and tartness.
